VR Headset
VRChat officially supports the following headsets and their corresponding control schemes:
- HTC Vive
- HTC Vive Pro
- Oculus Rift
- Oculus Rift S
- Oculus Quest
- [Oculus Quest 2] (doc:touch)
- Oculus Quest Link
- Valve Index
Although we may not officially support them, any headset that works with SteamVR should work, although you may have to explore Community-created controller bindings for an optimal experience.
If you want to customize your bindings, you can use the Bindings page in your settings. This is only available for Valve Index and Oculus Touch controllers. You can always customize your bindings in SteamVR, if you are using that platform. For more details, check out this video.
You can play VRChat with nothing more than a standard mouse and keyboard with a monitor. No headset required!
VRChat also supports play with a XBOX-like controller scheme.
