Fixes & Changes
- Improved reliability of player networking, addressing several issues with invisible players.
- Fixed a bug where switching into an avatar directly from the purchase flow would sometimes not work.
- Fixed the "Switch Into Avatar" button showing in some cases where it shouldn't have.
- Fixed an issue that caused the bundle info dialog to not show when buying an Avatar with only a single purchase option.
- Fixed an issue that caused avatars on the Explore page to disappear after switching accounts.
- Fixed "Forced Camera Near Distance" option not applying the configured value.
- Fixed an issue where your rotation would sometimes not sync if you moved your mouse very slowly in desktop mode.
- Fixed an issue where players standing still could disappear on rejoins in Build & Test mode.
- Improved memory usage by reducing built-in shader variants.
- This does not affect shaders visually.
- Several
Toon Standard
improvements. These will be available for PC avatars via a future SDK update, for now they will apply to shader fallbacks and mobile platforms only.- Improved specular highlight fidelity on mobile platforms.
- Fixed specular calculation when "Use Normal Map" is disabled.
- Scaled fresnel effect on low-metallic and low-specularity/gloss settings. This will avoid any specular effects showing up on parts where the Gloss Map is completely black.
