VRChat 2026.3.2 (OPEN BETA)

August 18 - Build 1896 - Open Beta

Changes & Fixes

  • With Accessories, you can now enter the editor and try out every customization option before purchasing.
    • Additionally, if you purchase an Accessory after doing this, it will be automatically added to a Look for you.
  • Improvements to Accessory Bundles.
    • The Main Menu Avatars tab will now show a "new" banner when you have received or purchased new Accessories.
    • The Accessories sidebar will now show you how many new Accessories you have.
    • Individually owned Accessories will now show a "new" icon.
    • The "Bundles & Packs" inventory menu sidebar tab will now show how many new bundles are available to claim.
    • When claiming a bundle that contains avatar accessories, you will now have the option to go directly to your accessories collection.
  • Listings in the Accessories store containing more than one product will now show a product count above the "Purchase" button.
  • Accessories can now be scaled even smaller.
  • Closing the menu while using the Look Editor now remembers your session. When returning to the Avatar page, you will be prompted with a prompt to resume or discard those changes.
  • Fixed a case where copying an Accessory in a Look wouldn't apply changes made to that Accessory when creating a new copy.
  • Accessory Bone Improvements
    • The looks editor now contains a dropdown for selecting bones, in addition to selecting bones in the scene.
    • The visibility filters are now "Human," "Rig," and "Extra." Human are all standard human bones. Rig contains any non-humanoid bones that descend from the human rig. Extra are any bones outside of humanoid rig entirely.
  • Throw your Camera to close it.
    • No, seriously.
      • We've added the ability to throw your Camera viewfinder to put it away.
      • You can turn this off via the "Behavior" tab. If you're not a fan of fun.
  • The Action Menu will now use your UI theme's colors.
    • We have the technology.
  • The Action Menu has received a handful of additional improvements:
    • The buttons under the "Tools" section now have long-press actions indicated by a tooltip.
    • Removed redundant “Close” button from “Options”.
    • Removed “Manage” submenu for emoji, and replaced it with “Open Inventory”, since it only contained that one option.
    • Moved “Face Mirror” to the top Options menu instead of as a sub-menu of the “Personal Mirror” tab.
    • Reorganized “Personal Mirror” sub-menu slightly.
    • Both mirror menus now have all options available even if their respective mirror is not open.
    • Removed “Calibration Mirror” setting from the Action Menu. (It still exists in the Main Menu's Settings).
      • Changed it to enabled it by default as well.
      • Fun fact: 42.1% of all FBT users have it on already, which is incredibly high for a setting that defaults off.
    • The Action Menu page now only resets on avatar switch if you're actually inside the "Expressions" submenu.
    • The “Personal Mirror” section in the Action Menu now has preset support.
      • Long-press on a slot to save all current personal mirror options such as Transparency, Masking, Movement Mode, etc.
      • Short-press to load a preset.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause contacts in worlds to get the wrong contact point when colliding with a sphere shaped contact sender that has an offset.

    • Zoom
    • Focal distance & Aperture
    • Greenscreen color
    • Exposure
    • LookAtMe offsets
  • Fixed an issue where badge titles were not displaying in tooltips on profiles.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the "NEW" label on the Quick Menu's Shop button to be unclearable, under some circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue where humanoid avatars without any eye bones could have head contacts generated at the wrong position and size while height-scaled above or below their defaults.
    • we stopped heads from tickling your feet
  • Made VRChat Credit pack text more legible.
  • Made Do Not Disturb status description clearer on the Status page.
  • You should no longer see other user's humanoid avatars briefly T-posing as they load in for the first time after joining an instance.
    • this is a fix, but if you think it's a regression, im sorry that happened
  • The user camera now displays the entire area that gets captured when you take a picture. Previously, it was cutting off a few pixels short at the edges.
  • Optimized debug UI on some pages.
  • Reduced tab button size in the debug UI to fit more on screen.
  • Items in the store that you already own are now marked with "Owned" text.
    • lmao owned
  • Items in the store that you claimed (via some magic and/or bundle, gift, so on) are now marked "Claimed."
    • not as fun as owned :(((
  • Added a "New" tag for Profile Decorations you have access to but have not viewed.
  • Fixed the text wrapping behavior in the User Profile, specifically the User Info section (the line under your name).

Known Issues

  • The speed of the camera when throwing it is currently tied to your avatar scale.
    • This is a bug, but it is also very funny.
    • Please say an appropriate catchphrase while doing this, tied to the speed of the camera.
  • Sometimes saving an accessory look may not work.
